The most important differences between the middle class and the working class on the aspect of ‘above degree-level education’ and ‘average value of investments’ are significant, the other some big differences are presented on the career such as working in professional/managerial/ technical jobs (workers only), average value of savings and average value of home (homeowners only). According to these differences, it is easy to found that the key point effect your class in the society is the education which can explore your view, extend you skill and then the chance for you to get a good job or invest some project increases.
The other opinion I want to talk is about distinctions between social classes today are perhaps less defined than they once were. The phenomenon that increasing in number of middle class means there is a decreasing in number of upper-class and working class. In the other word, the distance between more and more people becomes short. It is the results of civilized development in society, for example, the policy for protecting the poor have been provided by government. People have paid less attention on the different classes.

St David's Day

On the way I went back home from campus, a girl ran toward me, sent me a yellow flower and then ran way, I felt so surprising about it until I saw the new of BBC about the day. On 1 March 2008 I knew about 'St David's and the yellow flower called daffodil.
Saint David is the patron saint of Wales. He was a Celtic monk, abbot and bishop, who lived in the sixth century. During his life, he was the archbishop of Wales, and he was one of many early saints who helped to spread Christianity among the pagan Celtic tribes of western Britain. It is claimed that Dewi lived for over 100 years, and it is generally accepted that he died in AD 589.
Regardless of this, St. David was, and is, a very important figure to the Welsh. Naturally, then, St. David's Day is a time of great celebration in Wales. Societies all over Wales celebrate with special meetings and events. In St. David's Hall, Cardiff, each March 1st, there will be a concert featuring a 1000-member male voice choir, specially formed for the occasion.
Many Welsh people wear one or both of the national emblems of Wales on their lapel to celebrate St. David: the daffodil (a generic Welsh symbol which is in season during March) or the leek (Saint David's personal symbol) on this day. The association between leeks and daffodils is strengthened by the fact that they have similar names in Welsh, Cenin (leek) and Cenin Bedr (daffodil, literally "Peter's leek").
The Welsh flag is always flown in honour of St. David.

Employment in Britain
Companies need to look for employees who are a cultural match for their organizations, those who can actually do the work that needs to be done, and those who will ultimately make their organizations more productive. The aspects of an organisation dealing with employment are using the recruitment agencies and some jobcentre plus in internet and so on. Some projects supporting for employment are also useful, such as the Data Protection Act which is broad ranging and covers all kinds of information stored by almost any organisation.
The employment issues become more and more widespread in UK now, such as human rights in the workplace, sick pay and sickness absence, using your own vehicle for work and so on. The employees will be unhappy and want to change for another job if the issues can not be improved.
The relationship employers share with employees is affected by three significant factors – interests, control and motivation. Interests cover facets such as labour productivity, wages and the effect of financial markets on businesses. Control can be describe as being either output focused, focusing on desired targets with within managers defining, and using, their own methods for reaching targets, or process controls, which specify the manner in which tasks will be achieved . Employee motivation can often be in direct conflict with control mechanisms of employers, and can be broadly defined as that which energizes, directs and sustains human behaviour.
What Employees should be aware of before accepting a job is various. First of all, worker should make sure they entitled to certain statutory rights. Moreover the contract with your employer is legal, it contains job title, wages, hours of work, holiday entitlement, sick pay, pension schemes, notice, grievance dismissal activities. Besides that employees have to make sure only those who are better prepared and informed will be the winners in the competition for talent that is just around the corner.
